Privacy and cookie policy

Short version: FilamentRadar has no user accounts, uses no first-party cookies or analytics tools, and neither sells nor shares data with third parties. The only thing we process is what the server needs to serve the page and the email you send us if you decide to get in touch.

Data controller

What data we process and why

• Server logs. When you visit the site, the hosting provider automatically records the IP address, date and time, requested page and browser type. They are used solely for the security and technical operation of the service (legitimate interest, art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and are kept for a limited period according to the provider's policy.
• Email. If you write to us, we process your address and the content of the message in order to reply (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep it for as long as needed to handle the enquiry.

We do not build profiles or make automated decisions.

Cookies

FilamentRadar sets no first-party or analytics cookies, so it shows no cookie banner. Note that when you click a link to a shop you leave this site and go to the shop, which applies its own cookie and privacy policy. In the case of Amazon.es, affiliate links let Amazon know that the visit came from FilamentRadar through a cookie Amazon sets on its own domain; see the Amazon cookie notice.

If you choose a language with the selector in the header, your browser stores that preference in the device's local storage (localStorage) so the site opens in that language next time. It is not a cookie, it is never sent to the server and you can delete it from your browser settings.

Product images are loaded directly from each shop's servers, which may log that request. We configure the browser not to send them the referring page.

Recipients and transfers

The site is served from the infrastructure of a hosting provider (Vercel Inc.), which acts as a data processor and may process access logs outside the European Economic Area under standard contractual clauses. We do not share data with any other third party.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection by writing to hola@filamentradar.eu. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Changes
